County Kids Read
We provide the reading room for County Kids Read in the basement of the Parish Hall. Headed by Anne Preston under the auspices of the PEC Arts Council, what began as a place to store and sort books developed into a purpose-renovated reading room where children come to hear stories and choose their own books.
The ROC
The ROC aims to support young people in The County with a range of programs and a Youth Centre in Picton. In addition to the volunteer support of parishioners, St Mary Magdalene provides funding each year for one month of operating expenses for the Youth Centre.
