Our Minister:

The Rev Jeff O'Hare – Interim Priest-in-charge

Following the retirement of Archdeacon Charles Morris, the Rev Jeff O'Hare has been appointed interim Priest-in-charge while the parish searches for a new Rector. Jeff and his husband Terry live in Carrying Place where they are lovingly renovating their 18th century home. Jeff has served as Incumbent of Christ Church inn Belleville since 2017, has taken on Roslin in addition to his current ministry, and from February 1st, 2023, is also caring for St Mary Magdalene.

Langlois, Fran

Our Parish Deacon:

The Reverend Fran Langlois

Fran has been a member of St Mary Magdalene for many years. Ordained as a vocational deacon, Fran leads the Prince Edward County Anglican Ministry to Seniors, providing monthly communion services, visits, and support to seniors in facilities across the County.

Fran is also actively involved in the life of the parish, and assists most Sundays if she is not called away to other responsibilities.

Our Assistant Curate:

The Rev. Martha Riddell

Martha joined the team in September 2021 as a Lay Pastoral Associate, and was ordained Deacon in May 2022. Martha supports all aspects of the ministry of our parish, with a particular focus on outreach. Martha is currently on maternity leave.

Our Honorary Assistant Clergy:

We are very blessed to have four retired clergy-folk who are members of our parish community. The Rev. Bill Kidnew was a chaplain, and The Rev. David Hawkins served in parish ministry before they retired. Bishop Peter Mason was a parish priest, college principal, and Bishop of the Diocese of Ontario before his retirement. The Rev. John Whittall served in parish ministry and in various roles at Trinity College in Toronto before he retired.
